Share your experience - the ALLIANCE Involvement Network
The ALLIANCE Involvement Network is free and open to people who are disabled or living with long-term conditions who want to contribute to campaigning and policy activities. Unpaid carers may also join the network.
We know that people live busy lives and that sometimes living with a disability, a long term condition, or caring for someone, means that you may not be able to take part in everything that comes along. By joining the Involvement Network you will be kept up to date with opportunities to get involved (overview of current opportunities ). You can volunteer in a way that fits in with your time and health, whilst corresponding with your skills and interests.
At the ALLIANCE we often get requests from external partners to find members of the Involvement Network who might be interested in being directly involved in certain projects. It is therefore extremely helpful to know a bit about the experiences you have had, as this helps us to match projects with people who have relevant interests and experiences. One of the ways we can capture this information is from the ‘Tell Your Story’ questionnaire.
To join the Network or to find out more, please email Kerry Ritchie, Network Development Officer, firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0141 404 0231.
