Short video interviews with leaders on the work to remobilise, recover and redesign health and social care services in Scotland.

Published on August 25th 2021, the NHS Recovery Plan seeks to provide a road map on the Scottish Governments and NHS Scotland’s key ambitions over the next 5 years to address the health service’s backlog caused by the pandemic and meet the health needs of individuals in Scotland.

The Plan covers a range of topics including Cancer, Primary Care and Mental Health to name a few. There are also several key headings not mentioned in the plan and this series aims to highlight both. We speak to leaders from the third sector and civil society on the vital work taking place across the country to remobilise, recover and re-design Scotland’s health and care services.

The short interviews will provide an overview of the key issues facing health and social care and people living with long term conditions within this recovery phase. The series will spotlight areas of policy and innovation that the third sector is focussing on in supporting efforts to meet the ongoing health and care needs of people in Scotland.
