Brexit – What Matters to You? – A Local Converation in Govan

Section: Engagement in EuropeThe ALLIANCEType: Post

The ALLIANCE are hosting a series of Town Hall events to discuss the implications of Brexit for health and social care

The ALLIANCE is hosting an event at the Pearce Institute in Govan on the 30th April, seeking local views on Brexit. We would love for you to be able to join us and have your say.

We will be joined by Michael Russell, the Scottish Government Minister for UK Negotiations on Scotland’s Place in Europe, who will provide an update of where negotiations stand at this point.

At such a significant time in the Brexit negotiations, local communities and the third sector have a critical leadership role to play in shaping the debate across Scotland. But is their voice being heard?

The ALLIANCE recently undertook a survey of our members on how Brexit may affect them which you can read here.

Each local conversation will have its own theme, with our evening in Govan examining the potential impact leaving the European Union may have on inequalities in Scotland.

Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be available for all attendees. If you require any further information, please contact Matthew Hilferty on or 0141 404 0231

Places are limited so an early reply would be welcome.  Sign up through eventbrite (this link will take you away from our website)
