Join us as we celebrate a decade of the Community Links Worker Programme.

As part of Healing Arts Scotland Week, we are holding a celebration of 10 years of the Links Worker Programme at the ALLIANCE.

From our beginnings in 2014 as a pilot in seven Deep End GP practices across Glasgow, we’ve grown to encompass 80 GP practices in Glasgow, 16 in West Dunbartonshire, and have expanded to include thematic posts addressing homelessness and asylum seekers, as well as a pilot with links workers in foodbanks.

Our team takes great pride in the progress and impact we’ve achieved over the years. Join us at the Glasgow Women’s Library on 23 August as we launch our 10-year anniversary publication, which highlights the profound impact of the Links Worker Programme in primary care. This publication will feature case stories from participants, GP practice staff, and wider services, reflecting on a decade of dedicated work and looking forward to the future.

This event will bring together Community Links Practitioners, communities, GPs, practice staff, and many others to share their experiences from the past ten years. Lunch will be provided at 12pm.

Join us to learn more about our work and connect with like-minded individuals. This event has limited space. If you are interested in registering and coming along, please email roseann.logan@alliance-scotland.org.uk.
