Members are invited to provide input into the ALLIANCE's manifesto for the 2026 Scottish Parliament Election.

The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) are currently in the process of developing our manifesto for the 2026 Scottish Parliament election. This will set out the key priorities we would like the next Scottish Parliament and Scottish Government to act on over the following five years. Following internal discussion amongst the ALLIANCE’s Policy Team and contributions from other teams across the ALLIANCE, we are now seeking to engage with members on what has been proposed so far, any further suggestions, and possibilities for aligning calls between organisations. You can find a summary document via the resource link at the bottom of this page.

We are hosting several online events, and one in person, to allow members to engage with us directly. We welcome feedback and/or additional suggestions from members no later than 30 June 2025. Suggestions should aim to be SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound); aligned with the work and priorities of the ALLIANCE or our members; and within devolved powers (a reminder of what is devolved is available here this link will take you away from The Alliance website). For information, you can find the ALLIANCE’s 2021 Manifesto on our website.

If you are interested in attending this session, please email policy@alliance-scotland.org.ukmaking sure to state that you’d like to attend the 21 May session. Although we have scheduled in several sessions to give as many members as possible the opportunity to engage directly with us, we may ask if you are available for another session if there is very low demand for this one. You do not need to attend one of these sessions to provide your views and input, as we welcome written input as well.
