The Life Changes Trust welcomes you to the 5th in a series of 14 Collaborative Learning Events across Scotland.
The Life Changes Trust, people with dementia, unpaid carers and stakeholder’s from across Ayrshire and Arran have been working together over the last 5 months to create an opportunity to learn from initiatives and evidence from across Ayrshire and Arran. This will support local areas to think more deeply about how communities can uphold the human rights of people with dementia and unpaid carers.
CEO of the ALLIANCE, Professor Ian Welsh OBE will be chairing the event. The ALLIANCE will also be hosting a stall.
The event programme has 3 parts: the morning will host discussions about the key priorities identified from the Storytelling sessions which will have taken place with people with dementia, unpaid carers and professionals on 26 and 27 November in East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire and South Ayrshire.
The programme will end with the ‘Community & Dementia: Creating Better Lives’ conference on 28 November.
Who should attend:
People living with dementia, unpaid carers, health and social care staff, the voluntary and independent sector, planning and policy officers. Anyone with an interest in Dementia.
Attendees will enjoy a buffet lunch with time to network and engage with a variety of local projects and programmes in the exhibition space. There will also be dementia-friendly activities to try out too.
