Join the ALLIANCE and the Young Women's Movement for a session exploring hormonal contraception.

This webinar is part of our Winter programme of events on women’s health – see here for the full women’s health event programme delivered in partnership with the Scottish Government’s Women’s Health Plan team: https://www.alliance-scotland.org.uk/blog/news/alliance-womens-health-winter-events-programme/

This webinar, ran in collaboration with The Young Women’s Movement, will explore young women’s access to contraception, providing information to support them to feel confident and informed when making decisions about contraceptive options.

The session will include a focus on LARC (long acting reversible contraception) and hormonal contraception, as well as explaining other options that can support sexual and reproductive health.

The aim of the session is to debunk any myths and misinformation about contraception options, and encourage helpful discussion which answers queries and concerns young people may have. Sign up here.

It will be a space for young women and girls to hear from a clinician about contraception and also to learn about how to self-advocate for themselves in healthcare settings.

This session is aimed at young people 16-30.
