Demystifying research ethics for third sector organisations

Location: Online Date of event: 31/08/2021 at 1pm-2.30pm

This event will provide an introduction to Scotland's Third Sector Research Forum’s Guide to Applying Ethical Research Principles

Researchers from Poverty Alliance will share how they have applied the ethics guide in their own work, and researchers from YouthLink Scotland and the Scottish Government will discuss how they have built upon the guide to develop an ethics policy for YouthLink Scotland together.

The discussion period will focus on what issues related to research ethics resonate with participant’s own experiences and issues they’d like to discuss with others. We welcome all third sector staff members who lead, research and evaluate their organisations and academics who work with, or would like to work with, third sector organisations for their research.

For more information about the guide and ethical research principles see ‘What do we mean by ethical research principles and what this means in practice’ blog (this link will take you away from our website).
