Digital Citizens Panel – members event

Section: Digital Location: Online Date of event: 11/05/2021 at 10.30-12.30

Join us for our next members event to get to know our Digital Citizen Panel.

The Digital Citizen Panel is a new strand of work at the ALLIANCE, and is looking for your experiences, learning and views to help inform and shape digital solutions, enduring they are accessible and fit for purpose.

The ALLIANCE wants to create and develop a Digital Citizen Panel to ensure people are at the heart of service design and delivery, and people have meaningful and active decision making over the use of digital technology in their care and support. Watch this short video to find out more (this link will take you away from our website).

We are keen to hear from organisations who directly support people and their families, and have maybe had to adapt support during COVID-19, with some thought on future delivery but also we want to hear from people and gather their views on digital as a delivery method of health and social care support.

The Digital Citizen Panel is an ongoing piece of work at the ALLIANCE, and we will be looking to explore different opportunities following this event to allow people to have their say on digital health and care, shaped by the insights we receive at this event.

The ALLIANCE will be using Zoom for this event. The event is not designed to elicit personal information from participants, however, should you register to attend you must be aware that transfers personal data to the USA and that any personal data you choose to share will be transferred to a country that does not provide adequate protection and that no adequate safeguards aimed at providing protection for the data are being implemented.

The event link and instructions will be sent in advance.

By attending you will automatically be informed about the Digital Citizen Panel as it progresses and how to be involved in this increasingly important area of ongoing work. If you are unable to make this event but are interested in the work of the Digital Citizen Panel, please get in touch.
