General Election 2019 ‘Hustings’

Section: Policy into Practice Location: Edinburgh City Date of event: 05/12/2019 at 15:00 - 17:00

A coalition of third sector organisations are giving you a chance to put your questions to candidates ahead of the UK General Election.

We hope you can join us for an exciting General Election ‘Hustings’ Q&A event for disabled people, families, carers and professionals. Representatives from the Conservatives, Labour, the Liberal Democrats, the Greens and the SNP will all attend this free event to put forward the case for your vote in the upcoming General Election.

You as the audience will then have the opportunity to ask questions.

You can access the room from 2.30 and we would advise you to arrive in good time for a 3pm start. The church itself is wheelchair accessible but if you have any access requirements do let us know when you register.

If you would like to ask a question at the event – please send this ahead of the event. This is to try and make the event as accessible as possible. After we have finished pre-submitted questions we will take questions from the floor.

You can RSVP for the event and find out further information on Eventbrite (this link will take you away from our website).

This event is being jointly hosted by a number of different organisations including the National Autistic Society Scotland, MS Society Scotland, RNIB Scotland and the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE).
