Health and Social Care Integration Forum – Glasgow

Section: Health and Social Care Support and ServicesSelf Management and Co-Production HubLocation: Glasgow City Date of event: 27/02/2018 at 10am - 12.30pm

Join colleagues from across the third sector to discuss the all-important theme of 'engagement' when it comes to integration.

This forum, facilitated by the Integration Support Team, aims to provide a safe space for the 3rd sector (and those interested in working more closely with the sector) to discuss and explore the opportunities and challenges in Health and Social Care Integration in Scotland.

One of the main topics of discussion at this forum will be based around a paper requested by Ministerial Strategic Group for Health and Community Care (MSG) on Third Sector engagement with Health and Social Care Integration. Some suggested areas for insight and discussion include;

  • quality of engagement
  • practical barriers to involvement
  • shift to prevention and community based support
  • role of Strategic Planning Groups
  • perceived imbalance in focus on health vs social/community care
  • input into workforce development plans

Teas and coffees will be available at the venue from 10am, and the forum will start at 10.30am.

Places are free but limited, so please book early via the booking form below. It would also be helpful if you could let us know if you have any specific accessibility or dietary requirements by emailing comms.coordinator@alliance-scotland.org.uk
