We will be launch the Heart Disease Network to hear about peoples experiences and work with them to make improvements in Scotland.
In Scotland today, around 400,000 people live with Heart Disease. To ensure we can minimise preventable heart disease, and improve access to diagnosis, treatment, care and support, the Scottish Government refreshed the Heart Disease Action Plan which will be overseen by a National Heart Disease Task Force. It is important that this Task Force is influenced and informed by people with lived experience of heart disease.
To support the implementation of the Heart Disease Action Plan, the ALLIANCE, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, and British Heart Foundation have set up a Heart Disease Network to directly hear about people’s individual experiences. Our aim is to ensure people are at the centre, that their voices, expertise, and rights, drive policy and sit at the heart of design, delivery and improvement of support and services.
Therefore, we would be delighted if you can join a zoom launch event on Thursday 28 October from 10 am to 12 pm. Where you will hear more about future plans and how you can get involved to improve Heart Disease in Scotland.
To register please email email@example.com letting us know if you have any accessibility requirements. We will then forward on the joining instructions and zoom link.
In addition, we would really appreciate if you support in the promotion and share this invitation within your own networks.
