Join on Tuesday 17 February to give your opinions on the future of NHS Inform

NHS inform in partnership with the Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre (DHI) is leading a programme of work to redesign its digital service, and the ALLIANCE’s Digital Citizen Panel is hosting an online workshop to help shape and generate ideas for its future.

Phase 1 of the project identified opportunities for NHS inform to further develop its services to better support people throughout their healthcare journeys. The DCP/ALLIANCE members shared their views on the key challenges using the website and problem statements were created to guide the work. That earlier input has helped NHS inform set priorities for the redesign.

This next phase will focus on exploring these opportunities in more depth through co-design and developing a business case for improvement and change.

The workshop on 17 February is being delivered by researchers from The Glasgow School of Art and the Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre, working closely with NHS inform. During the session, they will:

  • Share a short update on what has been learned so far from the Digital Citizen Panel and other engagement activity.
  • Use a range of visual examples to prompt discussion and creative thinking about how NHS Inform could work in the future.
  • Propose a follow up in Spring to update on next steps.

If you’d like to attend this session please contact with accessibility preferences by Tuesday 11 February:

dhcscot@alliance-scotland.org.uk.

We recognise some of this session may be challenging for people with visual impairment due to the nature of part of the programme. Our aim is to make efforts to reduce this barrier ahead of the session so please get in touch to discuss this further.
