Humans of Scotland showcases at Glasgow's renowned Aye Write festival featuring contributors to the much loved book published in 2019
Join the ALLIANCE in an evening of storytelling and sharing experiences of living with a long term condition, with a disability or as an unpaid carer. Our contributors will tell their stories and discuss, with audience participation, the importance of the voice of lived experience and why they chose to share their stories with audiences across Scotland. We’ll hear from people on topics covering mental health, sensory loss and invisible disability among others.
Every story that has been shared in the Humans of Scotland project has been striking in its honesty and broadens our understanding of what it is to live with challenges day to day. Come along to meet some of our storytellers and listen to them generously share their writing.
This event is free but ticketed. To reserve your place please email email@example.com with ‘Humans of Scotland’ as the subject line.
