Join us for this in person event as part of the Integration in Action series in partnership with IFIC Scotland.
Join the ALLIANCE and the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC) Scotland on Thursday 26 June from 9am – 1pm at The Studio in Glasgow for the next event in our ‘Integration in Action’ series. We’ll be continuing to look at the factors that contribute to successful integration, including examples of good practice and ideas for the future, using the Academy’s Five Ambitions for the Future of Health and Care.
We can all be leaders in our own lives, communities and workplaces. This event will explore the Academy’s Leading Courageously Ambition. We will bring people together to explore how leaders can influence and make positive change in health and social care, the conditions necessary to effect meaningful change, and actions leaders can take to share their power and promote collective ways of working.
This hands-on event invites you to engage in conversations about the role of courageous leadership in health and social care through workshops and presentations. You’ll hear from speakers from different organisations highlighting examples of what courageous leadership looks like in practice and explore what it means to you, including:
- Jane-Claire Judson, Chief Executive, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland
- Sean Macaskill, Director, Autistic Knowledge Development
- Diane Roth, OD and Culture Specialist, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership
- Tim Eltringham, Chief Officer and Director of Health and Social Care, South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership
These presentations will showcase what is currently happening within the health and social care landscape and how that has had a significant impact on the progression of integration. This event aims to inspire and empower, let’s start to think about the changes we can make when we do things differently.
