This event will explore examples of measuring success in health and care with personal and rights based outcomes.

We should measure success in health and care with personal and rights based outcomes, not just short-term targets. Effective measurement helps us to understand if we have a health and social care system with people and wellbeing at the centre.

Join the ALLIANCE and the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC) Scotland on Wednesday 22 October, 2pm to 4pm, via Zoom for the next event in our Integration in Action series. The event will look at the factors that contribute to successful integration, including examples of good practice and ideas for the future. These ideas will be explored using the Academy’s Five Ambitions for the Future of Health and Care.

You’ll hear from five speakers from different organisations highlighting examples of what measuring outcomes differently looks like in action. They will share their insights on how people and organisations can effectively measure rights based, person centred outcomes and holistic wellbeing. These presentations will showcase what is currently happening within the health and social care landscape and how that has had a significant impact on the progression of integration.

The event will be chaired by Anne Hendry, International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC) Scotland and Lucy Mulvagh, Director of Policy, Research and Impact at the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE). We’ll be joined by:

  • Jillian Matthew, Senior Manager, Performance, Audit and Best Value, Audit Scotland
  • Maja Mitchell-Grigorjeva, Impact and Development Manager, Bipolar Scotland
  • Gill Main, Integration Manager (Strategic Planning and Performance), Midlothian Health & Social Care Partnership

More speakers will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

To register your attendance, please email the team at integration@alliance-scotland.org.uk. Please let us know if there is anything you need that would make it easier for you to participate.
