The ALLIANCE, Close the Gap (this link will take you away from our website) and the Scottish Government are pleased to be hosting a virtual webinar exploring menopause and work.

The symptoms of menopause can have a real and detrimental impact on women, and those who experience menopause, in the workplace. It is important that they are offered workplace support – as well as line managers and employers so that they are able to provide it. At the heart must be the needs of those who are working with symptoms of menopause.

This session will explore menopause in the context of the workplace, including good practice and procedures to ensuring that those experience menopause can continue to work comfortably. This hour long webinar will provide those experiencing menopause – or anyone who’d like to know more – with the opportunity to pose questions to, and have a dialogue with, a panel of experts.

The session will be chaired by ALLIANCE Director Irene Oldfather, with panellists:
Professor Kat Riach, the University of Glasgow
Lindsey Millen, Close the Gap
Katrin Bjornsson, NHS Ayrshire and Arran

We will also be joined by graphic facilitator, Clare Mills from Listen Think Draw (this link will take you away from our website)
