Join the ALLIANCE, Scottish Government and partners for the first of three sessions to demystify and destigmatise menopause
Please note that this session is now full.
The ALLIANCE is pleased to be hosting a panel Q&A session with myth busting experts across health, academia and the third sector.
This hour-long virtual session will provide those experiencing menopause – or those who’d like to know more about what the future may hold – with the opportunity to pose questions to, and have a dialogue with, a panel of experts. This session will provide participants with an opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings about this important transition and its impacts, and how we can enable them to experiencing it more positively.
The session will be chaired by ALLIANCE Director Irene Oldfather, with panellists:
- Rachel Weiss, Founder of the Menopause Café (this link will take you away from our website)
- Dr Claire Macaulay, Menopause sex and relationships expert
- Professor Kathleen Riach, Professor of Organisation Studies, University of Glasgow and expert in menopause and the workplace
- Dr Heather Currie, Associate Medical Director, Women, Children and Sexual Health, NHS Dumfries and Galloway
- Dr Sigi Joseph, General Practitioner
We will also be joined by graphic facilitator, Clare Mills from Listen Think Draw (this link will take you away from our website)
Participants will have an opportunity to submit questions to the panel in advance. Please submit questions before 29th November to email@example.com
