Join the ALLIANCE, Engender and See Me for a short, participatory event focused on gender equalities and mental health.
The First Minister’s National Advisory Council on Women and Girls (NACWG) was created in 2017 and is made up of 16 members from a wide range of backgrounds. Find out more information about the NACWG (this link will take you away from our website). The NACWG encourages people to come together in ‘Satellite Wee Circles’ and share their views on a Spotlight topic.
The topic we will discuss on 9 December is mental health. This is the NACWG’s ‘Spotlight’ Topic for November/December 2020 (this link will take you away from our website).
This event will be highly participatory, and discussion will focus on three main questions:
- In Scotland, what are the biggest equality issues for women and girls in relation to mental health?
- In Scotland, what needs to change to support mental health and improve gender equality for women and girls?
- What actions should the NACWG recommend to improve gender equality for women and girls in relation to mental health?
Feedback from the event will help inform the NACWG’s work – including its reports to the First Minister – and provide an opportunity for us to learn from each other.
The partners involved in this event are the ALLIANCE, Engender, and See Me. It will be held online (Zoom) and joining instructions will be sent in advance.
