Engagement workshops on ReSPECT which aim to inform and support service development and improvement.
The ALLIANCE and NHS Education for Scotland Digital Service (NDS) are hosting this event for people with lived experience, their families and carers who have experience or would benefit from the Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment (ReSPECT) process, which creates personalised recommendations for a person’s clinical care and treatment in a future emergency in which they are unable to make or express choices.
This workshop will be the first of three, held online on Zoom, which aim to understand how people, their carers and families could interact with digital ReSPECT directly, with a view to developing the service to enable improvements.
This event is aimed at:
- People who have a ReSPECT form
- People who have a different Anticipatory Care Plan (ACP) but are interested in ReSPECT
- People who don’t have any form of ACP but would benefit from one
- People who have supported individuals to discuss or complete a ACP or support someone who would benefit from one.
To register your place, please email email@example.com
Workshops two and three will take place on Wednesday 25 August and 29 September.
If you are unable to attend this event but keen to take part in this engagement activity please check our website page to see how you can get involved or please email firstname.lastname@example.org
