Section: Policy into PracticeLocation: Edinburgh City Date of event: 30/11/2017 at 9.30am

Join the ALLIANCE and Audit Scotland for an event discussing the experiences of people who have accessed SDS.

This event follows the publication of Audit Scotland’s progress update on Self-directed Support and the ALLIANCE’s research, Personal Experiences of SDS. By presenting the key findings from both reports, this event, which is being hosted in conjunction with the Health and Social Care Academy, will invite delegates to consider approaches to increasing and improving the implementation of SDS across Scotland and ensuring it is transformational.

The agenda will include:

  • Personal experiences form people who have been using SDS
  • A panel discussion with stakeholders from Audit Scotland’s progress update
  • Roundtable discussions for delegates to consider research findings
  • A networking lunch will follow
