Join the ALLIANCE and SIAA to discuss the social security agency's consultation and help inform responses.
Please join us in Glasgow on 22 January 2020 to discuss the draft Mainstreaming Equality Outcomes being proposed by Scotland’s social security agency, Social Security Scotland. Views shared at the event will help inform responses to the consultation.
Social Security Scotland is developing its first Equality Strategy, which is intended to ensure that equality is at the centre of all its work (https://consult.gov.scot/social-security/social-security-mainstreaming-equality (this link will take you away from our website)).
This Equality Strategy will be underpinned by Mainstreaming Equality Outcomes. There are five draft outcomes that Social Security Scotland are currently consulting on, and these will be the focus of our event on 22 January 2020. Views shared at the event will help inform responses to the consultation.
There will be an informal networking lunch from 12.30pm-1pm, and the event will start at 1pm. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
