Event sharing learning from the evaluation of Living Well: Emotional Support Matters (Living Well)

Living Well was created to improve the mental health and emotional wellbeing of people with long term conditions (LTCs) in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, when people living with LTCs experienced a significant and disproportionate negative impact to their mental health and wellbeing. It was a partnership project between the ALLIANCE and Mental Health Foundation.

Between 2021 and 2024, we partnered with third-sector organisations supporting people living with LTCs to build their staff capacity, capture learning and assess the economic benefits of a preventative approach to promoting mental health and wellbeing.

The project reached nearly 5,000 trustees, staff, volunteers and people accessing the services of our eight partner organisations.

The event will launch our evaluation report “Tools in the Toolbox”, and will provide the opportunity to learn about:

  • How Living Well built capacity, confidence and skills
  • The economic impact of taking a capacity building approach
  • The insights and experiences of our partners and the Living Well team
  • Recommendations for further action

This event will be relevant and interesting to:

  • policy and decision makers in health and social care
  • strategic and operational leaders
  • funders and commissioners
  • community practitioners
  • anyone with an interest in mental health, wellbeing and/or living with long term conditions(s)

You can sign up for the webinar which will be hosted online on Wednesday 23 April, 12:45-2:00pm, via Eventbrite.

The actual link to the event will be sent to those who have signed up 24 hours prior to the start time.
