ASH Scotland are running free online sessions to support people who work with young carers to have conversations about health and wellbeing.
ASH Scotland are running free online sessions to support anyone who works with young carers to have non-judgmental conversations about health, wellbeing and smoking.
The virtual learning is supported by Carers Trust and the Scottish Young Carers Service Alliance. The course includes an e-learning module followed by a short live session via Zoom. The session will explore ways to:
- protect young carers from second-hand smoke
- support young people to stay smoke-free
- feel confident in having non-judgmental conversations about smoking
- help improve the health and wellbeing of young carers and their families.
The sessions will take place on Wednesday 29 September, Wednesday 27 October and Friday 19 November.
