Join The Lasting Difference for a members-only participatory workshop and practical introduction to charity sustainability.
In keeping with Government guidelines on COVID-19, we are moving all members networking events to online platforms for the foreseeable future for the health and safety of our members, partners and staff. The events will take place on the dates specified and we are working with our partners to deliver the same learning experience to meet our members needs during this time.
The principles and practices of charity sustainability (members workshop)
This participatory workshop hosted by The Lasting Difference (this link will take you away from our website) will give ALLIANCE members a practical introduction to charity sustainability. Focusing on the core principles in the Lasting Difference toolkit, it helps participants to identify straightforward practices to support their long term survival and sustainability. We will also provide a short overview of the five capabilities of sustainable organisations.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have:
- Broadened their understanding of sustainability
- Gained access to new tools
- Increased ability to make plans for long term survival and sustainability.
This event will be conducted online. The event password and instructions will be sent in advance. Please note that places are limited. To indicate accessibility needs and register your place, please email Membership@alliance-scotland.org.uk
Now in a newly updated fifth edition, the Lasting Difference toolkit (this link will take you away from our website) is used by over 6000 non-profit organisations worldwide. The workshop is led by Graeme Reekie, author of Making a Lasting Difference, sustaining non-profit organisations and their impact and lead author of the Lasting Difference toolkit.
