The ALLIANCE and Leading to Change are delighted to invite you to an upcoming national leadership session.
Working in partnership, the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) and Leading to Change (NHS Education for Scotland – NES) are delighted to invite you to one of our upcoming national leadership sessions.
If you work across the social work, social care, health, or third, independent and voluntary sectors, these workshops are for you!
So, why should you attend?
At the heart of these sessions is a simple but powerful question: “What matters to you?”
Together, we’ll explore how this question can transform leadership, relationships, and outcomes across services.
The session will be hosted by:
- Tommy Whitelaw – National Lead, Person Centred Voices, the ALLIANCE
- Susan Nevill – Social Work and Social Care Lead, Leading to Change, NES
The key themes that will be covered are:
- Intelligent kindness and the power of empathy in action
- The ‘What Matters to You?’ approach, and how we can understand people’s values and priorities
- How to foster respectful, collaborative cultures
- Self-care, and sustaining ourselves to better support others
- Active listening to ensure we are truly valuing every voice
- Insights from NES which will provide additional perspectives and tools to support leadership
We’re also pleased to welcome Diane Roth, Organisational Development and Culture Specialist at Fife HSCP, who will share personal experiences of applying these principles in practice.
Interested individuals can reach out to Kerry Green kerry.green2@aapct.scot.nhs.uk no later than Friday 17th October .
Lunch will be provided prior to the workshop at 1200. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided.
