Booking open for Third Sector Research Forum Conference 2021

The theme of the free conference is "Researching well – Good practice and ethics in third sector research".

Evaluation Support Scotland’s Third Sector Research Forum, of which the ALLIANCE is a member, have opened bookings for their 2021 conference on the 17th of February. The conference will be held remotely, and is aimed at people working in Scotland who are involved with or have an interest in third sector research.

This year’s theme is “Researching well – Good practice and ethics in third sector research”. Attendees can expect to improve their understanding of good practice in ethical research. The conference will hear from a number of speakers including:

    • Dr Gayle Munro, National Children’s Bureau
    • Professor Alison Koslowski, University of Edinburgh and Professor Peter Scott, Southampton University
    • Rebecca Sludden, Research Officer, Public Health Scotland
    • James Parry, CEO of UK Research Integrity Office, UKRIO

In addition to the plenary sessions, attendees will be able to choose two workshops to attend. These will cover a range of issues such as mental health, digital youth work research during COVID-19, and how to maximise policy influence.
