Clear Pathway Guidance – Evaluation

Type: News Item Date Published: 7th February 2020

A survey for organisations who work in partnership with NHS boards in Scotland to engage volunteers in NHS settings.

In April 2018 the Clear Pathway guidance was sent to the Chair and CEO of every NHS board in Scotland by Professor Jason Leitch, CBE (Clinical Director, Healthcare Quality and Strategy, Scottish Government). Clear Pathway provides a framework for NHS Boards on best practice working with third sector partners to engage volunteers in NHS settings.

The Scottish Government has asked Voluntary Health Scotland (this link will take you away from our website) to carry out an evaluation of the impact of Clear Pathway. We’re keen to hear from organisations who engage volunteers in NHS settings. If you are involved in this type of work please take a few minutes to complete our online survey (this link will take you away from our website) which aims to understand awareness of the guidance and, where relevant, its impact on volunteering in NHS settings.

Take Voluntary Health Scotland’s survey online (this link will take you away from our website) before 21st February 2020.

NOTE: Rocket Science UK Ltd have been appointed to carry out this evaluation and they will administer and collate results from this online survey. All Rocket Science research is conducted in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct.
