A Third Sector Steering Group is seeking your views on the draft Cyber Resilience Action Plan.

Safe, secure and prosperous: a cyber resilience strategy for Scotland (this link will take you away from our website), was published in 2015, setting out the Scottish Government’s vision for Cyber Resilience in Scotland. Action plans are now being developed across Scotland’s sectors to meet that Strategy’s aims.

The draft action plan for building cyber resilience in Scotland’s third sector has been prepared by a recently established Steering Group (chaired by SCVO with representation from sector intermediaries such as the ALLIANCE as well as IT experts in Scottish charities).

If you are interested in accessing and commenting on this draft plan, please contact SCVO by emailing  The deadline for consultation responses is 6th April as the aim is to finalise/launch the plan around May 2018.

Note that this action plan is high level and the document itself is not intended to help organisations understand the specific risks and steps to take to protect themselves.

There are also not significant additional resources available to support this work. Therefore the actions are mainly focused on activity which can be delivered by organisations as part of their existing work/resources.
