Dementia Carer Voices film with NHS England

The following film has been developed on behalf of the CNO Office, England in collaboration with DCV campaign featuring Tommy Whitelaw.

Jane Cummings, CNO England is delighted to be working with Tommy Whitelaw to bring together the Dementia Carers Voices campaign and the Leading Change, Adding Value framework for nursing, midwifery and care staff, which she launched in May 2016.

CNO England, Jane Cummings said:

“The framework supports staff whatever their role, wherever they work to make changes to improve outcomes for patients, improve experiences for both patients and staff and to make better use of available resources. The 6Cs are the value base for the framework and 10 commitments within the framework help align our efforts to areas where unwarranted variation is recognised.”

ALLIANCE Director, Irene Oldfather, said:

“Dementia Carer Voices is delighted to be working with the Chief Nursing Officer, England, Jane Cummings, to raise awareness of the Leading Change, Adding Value framework and to help embed the framework in the work of health professionals across England. Leading Change, Adding Value shows how all nursing, midwifery and care staff can play an active and important role in improving outcomes for people in their care.”
