A new resource co-produced by the Getting to Know Getting it Right for Every Child Team has been launched.

The Getting to Know Getting it Right for Every Child Team are pleased to announce the launch of their new resource, ‘Involving children, young people, parents and carers in planning to meet children’s wellbeing needs’.

The guidance, produced in partnership with People 1st and a range of third sector organisations who work with children, young people and families, provides information on inclusive communication to ensure children, young people, their parents and carers are involved in identifying their support needs.

The guidance is not a template but is designed to help in situations where formal, coordinated planning for children is being considered. It aims to help inform and guide discussion with each child, young person and parents or carer to ensure their individual needs and circumstances can be met and accomplished.

The resource can be downloaded below as a PDF, along with 4 editable easy read resources to help children, young people and parents/carers to participate and express their views.
