MSYP announced as speaker at ALLIANCE Annual Conference

Reece Harding MSYP will be speaking at Impact: the 3rd Health and Social Care Integration Event on 20 May in Glasgow.

The ALLIANCE are pleased to announce that Reece Harding who is a Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYP), will be in attendance and addressing delegates at this year’s ALLIANCE Annual Conference.

Our 2019 conference will aim to represent the integration of health and social care in its approach, and will focus on the theme of ‘Impact’. Delegates will represent a broad cross sector of Scottish society with an interest in health and social care, including the third sector, health and social care providers and, most importantly, people who access support and services.

Reece is a Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament for Clydesdale which is a constituency made up of lots of small towns and villages. He also sits on the Health and Wellbeing committee in the Scottish Youth Parliament and has done so for almost a year. Reece is now in his second term as an MSYP and has been an MSYP for coming up to 4 years! Outside of the Scottish Youth Parliament, he is the Chair of South Lanarkshire Youth Council. Their aim is to best represent the views of young people in South Lanarkshire at a local level.

Reece will be joining Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport Jeane Freeman MSP ,  Natalie Masterson, Chief Executive of Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise ,  Iona Colvin, Chief Social Work Adviser  and Conference Chair  Pennie Taylor.
