Housing organisations are invited to sign up to set up to a set of commitments to improve the lives of people living with dementia.

A coalition of organisations has worked together to develop a framework which identifies the role of the housing sector in supporting people to live well with dementia.

The document was produced by Alzheimer Scotland, the Chartered Institute of Housing and Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s iHub and was based on five person-centred outcomes that people living with dementia said were important to them.

The Framework will help organisations to record the work that they are already doing to support people living with dementia and identify areas where more work needs to be done.

For full details on the framework, visit the Chartered Institute of Housing website (this link will take you away from our website).
