A Draft Scottish Learning and Improvement Framework for Adult Social Care Support and Community Health (SLIF) has been published to support an approach to improvement which builds on learning, manages quality, and will track improvement through the outcomes that matter to people.

You can read the framework and access an easy read version on the Scottish Government’s website.

The framework was developed by the Scottish Government, with support from organisations including the ALLIANCE.

In September 2024, the ALLIANCE held several discussions with people with lived experience of accessing and/or delivering adult social care support and community health to hear about what matters most to them in relation to the outcomes set out in the SLIF.

These engagements helped to inform the development of success criteria which will be used to track and understand if progress toward the SLIF outcomes is being made.

We are grateful to all those who participated. The ALLIANCE produced two engagement reports. One covers people’s views directly in relation to the SLIF outcomes. The other report captures with wider points raised in our discussions.

Please find the ALLIANCE engagement reports below.
