The Gambling Education Hub, a preventative and educational programme run by Fast Forward, launches a new resource for parents and carers.

This resource consists of a booklet titled “Gambling and Young People – Advice for Parents and Carers”. It offers practical advice and information to help parents and carers have open, positive conversations about gambling with their children.

The booklet takes the reader through ten easy-to-follow tips for parents and carers wishing to address gambling with their children and young people. It offers clear advice and it uses accurate, up-to-date statistics and accessible infographics.

This resource is now freely available on the Gambling Education Hub website: browse through it online and download it for free (this link will take you away from our website).  The Hub also plans, after the COVID-19 lockdown, to make a few hard copies available free of charge to Scottish organisations supporting parents and carers.

Additionally, the Gambling Education Hub is now offering free webinars, to continue supporting services across Scotland during the lockdown,  including sessions specifically for organisations working with parents, carers and families. Consult the full webinar calendar (this link will take you away from our website).

Alternatively, bespoke webinars can be organised by contacting the organisation directly.
