A new learning resource has been developed to address the recommendation for a national approach to learning and development related to TEC.
The use of technology empowers people to manage their health and care and is seen as part of the response to increasing demands on the care sector, hospital and GP services, challenging NHS, local government and other organisation finances and pressures on the workforce to deliver better care closer to home.
That’s why a new ‘Introduction to Technology Enabled Care’ (TEC) learning resource has been developed to address the recommendation for a national approach to learning and development from the research report – ‘Supporting Scotland’s Workforce’, available to download at: tec.nes.nhs.scot (this link will take you away from our website).
The learning resource is available free of charge and is aimed at staff in the health and care sector who work in NHSScotland, local authorities, the voluntary/third sector, the independent (private) sector and/or housing.
The learning resource is available at: https://learn.nes.nhs.scot/10078/technology-enabled-care/elearning (this link will take you away from our website).
