Pharmacy regulator seeks new Chair

The General Pharmaceutical Council is seeking an inspirational new Council Chair.

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is seeking an inspirational new Chair to work closely with the Council, Chief Executive and Registrar and wider Senior Leadership Group to achieve the organisation’s Vision 2030 for ‘safe and effective pharmacy care at the heart of healthier communities’.

The GPhC is the independent regulator of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy premises within England, Scotland and Wales. Their role is to protect the public and give them assurance that they will receive safe and effective care when using pharmacy services.

The recruitment process will run until Monday 2 August 2021 and seeks applications from a diverse range of applicants, from all sections of the community.
