ALLIANCE members SAMH have put out a call for views on NHS Mental Health services as part of their response to the Health and Sport Committee’s consultation on Clinical Governance.

Clinical governance refers to the systems in place to ensure NHS accountability and the continual improvement of care and safety. The findings from the committee’s inquiry will be used to push the government and NHS for positive change to how the health service is working.

SAMH will be responding and would like as many voices and experiences of people using or who have used NHS mental health services to be heard as possible. Beyond the committee’s inquiry they will use views gathered to help us campaign for NHS mental health services that are based on fairness, respect, quality and choice.
