The Scottish Government has published COVID-19: – A Framework for decision-making (this link will take you away from our website). It sets out some of the challenges Scotland faces and outlines the approach and principles that will guide decisions about transitioning out of the current lockdown arrangements. The Government state they will listen to the best scientific advice and to the people of Scotland as they make judgements. This is a living document and will be updated as evidence, modelling, and assessment of the different options open to us develops.

The framework recognises that the harms caused by the pandemic do not impact everyone equally and commits to protect those most at risk and protect human rights as Scotland moves to the next phase of response, working to rebuild Scotland’s economy, overcome inequality and advance human wellbeing.
