Scottish Parliament outreach newsletter launched

The Community Outreach Team at the Scottish Parliament is launching a new monthly e-Newsletter - and you can sign up now.

The role of the Community Outreach Team is to help support you to get involved in the work of your Scottish Parliament.  They deliver services that  educate and engage people across Scotland in the business of the Scottish Parliament and have the key role of supporting the work of the Parliament’s fifteen committees in engaging with people in communities across Scotland.

Their aim is always to equip people in communities across Scotland with the skills and knowledge needed to get involved with the work of the Scottish Parliament.

The purpose of their new e-Newsletter is to keep key partners in the third/community sector up-to-date with what’s happening at Holyrood. It will highlight opportunities for groups and individuals to have their say in parliamentary business, as well as outlining opportunities for training and parliamentary awareness sessions that the Community Outreach Team can offer.

The newsletter will be informal, lively and friendly and presented in a clear and concise way, and focused on what colleagues in the third sector have said they want to hear from us.
