Are you a Self Management Network Scotland member and interested in providing an update at the national networking event?

The Self Management and Co-Production Hub are looking for Self Management Network Scotland members to provide a short update at the SMNS Networking Event, Gaun Yersel: Celebrating Self Management on Thursday 19th April at the Studio, Glasgow.

2018 marks the ten year anniversary of Gaun Yersel: The Self Management Strategy for Long Term Conditions in Scotland. To coincide with this still highly relevant strategy, the SMNS National Networking Event will celebrate the growth of self management activity in Scotland and consider the role of the network in supporting this growth in the future.

To highlight the self management activity of the past year, network members will have the opportunity to provide a short five minute update in the PechaKucha format, guided by the theme of Gaun Yersel or Integration.

Gaun Yersel – how have you ‘gone for it’ in the past year? Have you tried something differently or do you want to share an example of your self management journey?

Integration – what has been your experience of health and social care integration and self management? Do you have stories of success working with your health and social care partnership that we can learn from?

PechaKucha – a presentation style where a set number of presentation slides are shown for a set length of time. This is to keep the presentations informative, concise and invigorating. In this instance we will be asking for no more than five slides in the five minute update.

This is a great opportunity to promote your work and share your learning with the Self Management Network Scotland.
