There are two weeks left to apply for the European Patients Forum’s 2019 Summer Training Course.

The annual leadership programme aims to empower young patients to become patient advocates, and to help active young patient advocates expand their skills and maximise their leadership potential.

This year’s course will take place in Vienna from 7-10 July 2019, considering inclusion and non-discrimination as overarching themes from an advocacy perspective.

Anyone with an interest can find more details about what to expect and how to apply on the EPF website (this link will take you away from our website). The deadline for applications is 1 March 2019, 23:59.

The ALLIANCE’s Policy and Information Assistant Matthew Hilferty attended the course last summer:

“It was an amazing three days. The course content was really thought provoking, but I learned even more from the other people on the course. I met so many inspirational people, some of which I’m still in touch with a year later.

“I’d recommend it to anyone.”
