The ALLIANCE has responded to a call for views from the Scottish Parliament's Health and Sport Committee on the Draft Budget for 2018-19.

The ALLIANCE has responded to a call for views from the Scottish Parliament’s Health and Sport Committee on the Draft Budget for 2018-19.
The inquiry asked for people and organisations to share their views around what Scotland’s priorities should be for health and sport spending.
In responding to the committee, the ALLIANCE’s submission reiterates that the third sector can make a significant contribution to the health and wellbeing of Scotland’s people and communities through the development and implementation of innovative approaches.
The response also calls for an increase in the pace of preventative activity, including consideration of further investment in social care services in order to support the development of community based services that would quicken a shift in the balance of care.
