The advisory public body are seeking to appoint a Chair and up to five Panel Members.
The Scottish Fuel Poverty Advisory Panel – a new advisory public body in Scotland – is seeking to appoint a Chair and up to five Panel Members to contribute to the development of fuel poverty policy and monitor progress towards meeting the Scottish Government’s fuel poverty targets.
The Fuel Poverty (Targets, Definitions and Strategy) (Scotland) Act 2019 sets out that collectively the Panel must have the following knowledge and experience:
- Experience in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of policy relating to fuel poverty
- Experience in academic research in connection with fuel poverty
- Experience working with persons who experience fuel poverty
- Experience of living in fuel poverty
