A Provocation Paper from the Health and Social Care Academy examining weight stigma in health and social care.

The aim of the paper is to stimulate discussion and debate on how health and social care services can promote health and body respect for everyone in Scotland.

The paper considers the need for radical positive change to the current approach to weight in Scotland, discusses the opportunities for change and the steps that can be taken to emphasise the humanity of those delivering and receiving care.
