Join the Citizens Rights Project for a session for frontline workers that support EU citizens living in the UK

Date of event: 07/12/2021 at 15:00 – 16.30 via Zoom

The deadline for EU citizens to register under the EU Settlement Scheme and safeguard their right to reside in the UK might have passed, but the issues are far from over. In fact, there are still cases and these are increasingly more complex.

Join this FREE webinar organised by the Citizens Rights Project (this link will take you away from our website) in collaboration with Settled and Feniks to learn why it is important to continue talking about the EU Settlement Scheme, and what you can do to help us raise awareness about it and reach to those who may be at risk of losing their rights.

It is aimed at case and frontline workers in consulates, local authorities, third sector and community organisations, and any individuals providing support and services to people who might be facing barriers when applying to the scheme or accessing their migrant status.

In this online seminar we will give you key notions about the scheme so you can help the people you support or refer them to the right service. We will talk about:
– A brief reminder about the EU Settlement Scheme and why it is still relevant.
– Late applications to the scheme.
– How to access, update and prove the digital status.
– Joining family members
– Switching from pre-settled to settled
– Proving the right to work
– And others
