Rachael Tidmore, former Communic18 Co-Design Leader will speak at Impact: the 3rd Health and Social Care Integration Event on 20th May.

The ALLIANCE are delighted to announce that Rachael Tidmore, former Communic18 Co-Design Leader and Year of Young People Young Scot Winner, will speak at the next ALLIANCE Annual Conference.

Our 2019 conference will aim to represent the integration of health and social care in its approach, and this year will focus on the theme of ‘Impact’. Delegates will represent a broad cross sector of Scottish society with an interest in health and social care, including the third sector, health and social care providers and, most importantly, people who access support and services.

Rachael is a young person from South Lanarkshire. She has a keen interest in health and wellbeing in her own health but primarily in the health of young people and how they are seen and cared for.

She is a strong believer in good communication and co-design which sees young people at the heart of discussions and decision making when the conversation is about or directly impacts their lives.

Having been a member of Communic18 (this link will take you away from our website) co-design leaders for last years, Year of Young People 2018 (YOYP) (this link will take you away from our website) this was part of her role in making sure that this happened. Breaking down barriers and creating new and stronger relationships between young people and those decision makers and professionals. Having a highly successful year she hopes for those ideals and relationships to continue and maintain.

Rachael is now currently Studying a HND in Animation and Design at the City of Glasgow College and continuing to volunteer in any spare time she gets, well between that and keeping up with American Football.

Natalie will join fellow speakers Reece Harding, MSYP , Jeane Freeman MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport , Iona Colvin, Chief Social Work Adviser , Natalie Masterson, Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise and as speakers at this year’s event, as well as conference chair Pennie Taylor.
