In light of recent events, you can now join the 'You Can Make a Difference' campaign and attend live sessions online.
The ALLIANCE Carer Voices project would like to begin by thanking you for being a part of the You Can Make a Difference campaign. We want you to know that your health and well-being is our top priority.
In light of the evolving COVID-19 situation, we have put in place precautionary measures to ensure safety remains a priority particularly for those deemed most vulnerable. As we all make sense of the evolving situation, Carer Voices is guided by two priorities: ensuring safety and health and that the key messages of the campaign – intelligent kindness – remains at the heart of all practice at a time more necessary than ever.
Right now, like many others, we’re in the process of offering all of our sessions and talks to be delivered live remotely. The good news is, we’ve done this for hundreds of people through ALLIANCE Live and know how to do it well.
Starting Monday 23 March we will be moving all in-person ‘You Can Make a Difference’ improvement sessions. We are offering the opportunity to schedule talks online at times that best suit you and your community. From here, we will continue to monitor the situation and update you on an ongoing basis as to when in-person sessions can resume.
Carer Voices is committed to using all resources to ensure our learning about kindness and care continues and maintain a sense of structure and connection in the midst of an unprecedented situation.
If this is something you are interested in, please email Project Lead, Tommy at Tommy.Whitelaw@alliance-scotland.org.uk with dates and times that best suit you and your colleagues. We will set up all sessions and send log-in details in advance.
