In this week's Introducing ALLIANCE Staff, we are introduced to Francesca Di Mascio.
In 140 characters, what is your role at the ALLIANCE?
I work in finance, dealing with credit control. I also provide admin and IT support.
I came to the ALLIANCE straight from school so in my words, this is my first ‘big girl job’. I moved on from being office assistant at the ALLIANCE to where I am now and previously had a part time job in a kitchen which developed my love for cooking.
Biggest learning experience in current or previous role?
It’s hard to choose my biggest learning experience, but I think it’s challenging myself and pushing myself to do some things I wouldn’t normally do. I think it is important to do this as I have learned so much from different people.
Twitter, Facebook or Instagram?
I use all three but if I had to choose it would probably be Twitter, but Instagram is a close second.
In my spare time I like to…
I love spending time with friends and going to gigs and festivals. I don’t have any major hobbies, but I love to cook and bake. I love horror films and I’m currently on the quest to find one that scares me!
When you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up?
I’m pretty sure I wanted to be my big sister – she is five years older than me and I looked up to her an awful lot. I have come to my senses now and realised I am 100x better than her!
Trade places with someone for one day, who would it be?
Honestly, I can’t think! There isn’t anyone in particular that comes to mind.
Trains, planes or automobiles?
Trains all the way. I am relatively new to using them but they are so much more efficent – if there’s no disruptions that is.
