Dystonia is a Neurological movement disorder caused by faulty signals from the brain. It causes painful twisting, repetitive movements or abnormal postures. It is estimated to affect over 70,000 people in the UK. The Society is dedicated to providing information and support to everyone affected in the UK and to raising awareness of the condition. They are also committed to ensure that everyone with the condition has access to the treatments that they need.
